During a typical web design course you will learn how to design and develop a blog or website using WordPress (or similar online programme) and ustilise various “plugins” to enhance the visual impact and functionality of your site.
Among other topics, you will learn how to purchase hosting and a domain; choose themes; design your website; add pages and posts; set up and use e-commerce options; consider SEO (Search Engine Optimisation); use analytics; connect with social media; and market your website.
You should expect to have a completely functional website by the end of a 10 week course.
