Flower Arranging and Floral Art classes for adults

The ancient art of flower arranging, also known as floral design or floral art, involves putting  flowers and plant materials and flowers together to create a pleasing and balanced display.

It’s much easier than you think, and beginners, especially those who have access to foliage and flowers in their own garden, don’t need much money to get started.

An eight or ten week floral design night course will teach you much of what you need to know to get you started, and as you grow in confidence you’ll be able to create a wide range of floral displays for all occasions.

Each course will cover the basics of floristry, from choosing and treating cut flowers and foliage to looking after your final arrangement, and teach you how to put together a variety of contemporary and traditional arrangements and floral bouquets.

Seasonal arrangements are generally covered, in both the spring and autumn terms. Wedding flower are often also covered and you’ll learn how to save money by using in-season flowers and foliage that is readily available.
