During a typical dog grooming course you will learn all about how to groom your dog, comb out knots, bathe it and cut it’s nails.

Some courses also cover other aspects of dog care, including checking its ears and teeth and planning visits to your vet for vaccinations and health issues.

General pet care courses cover nutrition, disease, behaviour, bedding, training and environmental factors for a range of pets. During a typical dog obedience course you will learn to teach your dog behaviours to help them live alongside humans.

By the end of the course, dogs will be able to respond to a range of commands, including stay, sit, come here and lie down.

You will also learn how to deal with dogs that have a habit of jumping up.

Who knows, this might even the fits step to your own dog grooming or animal care business!
