In addition to learning about plot, character, dialogue, point of view, genre and show don’t tell, those joining an evening class will benefit from the feedback provided by their tutor and classmates, and the motivation that weekly classes provide.
Complete beginners are welcome, and you don’t have to be a literary genius to join a writing class.
Be prepared, however, to give and receive feedback, and to take on short writing tasks between classes.
