Comprehensive Schools
Courses typically include some demonstration, and as much hands-on practice as possible, as you learn how to use hand and power tools and achieve a level of confidence required to carry out your own DIY projects.
Topics covered vary from school to school but by the end of a typical 8 or 10 week course you should have the skills to successful complete a range of basic tiling, carpentry, electrical and/or plumbing tasks around the home.
