The craft of Stained glass, or glass art as it is more often referred to nowadays, combines artistic skill with engineering precision, and is a great hobby for anyone who likes to be creative while paying attention to detail.
While the possibilities are limited only by your imagination, and the opportunities to take on more and more demanding projects almost endless endless, even those who are new to the art can create attractive decorative items.
During a typical 10-week beginners’ course, you can expect to learn about drawing and designing patterns, scoring and cutting shapes, applying foil, soldering, framing and finishing you piece, utilising the Tiffany-style of ornamental glass.
